New Amsterdames is a comic caper of a play that imagines real historical figures from the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam, including entrepreneurs Anna Joralemon and Margaret Hardenbroeck, in a race against Peter Stuyvesant and an army of beavers to find the lost deed to the island of Manhattan.

The cast of New Amsterdames includes Arlene Chico-Lugo, Gwen Eyster, Michaela Goldhaber, Mary Hodges*, Janine Kyanko*, Tina Lee*, Kevin Lyons, Clea Rivera*, and Christopher T. VanDijk*. Artistic collaborators include Scott Boyd, Alisha Engle, Jill Harrison, Judi Lewis Ockler, Mark Spain, and Phebe Taylor*.
